Who can use Nudl?

Businesses and individuals that pass our onboarding checks. Typical clients include cross-border businesses, marketplaces, affiliate and creator platforms, and individuals who send or receive money internationally. Access is subject to eligibility, jurisdiction, and compliance review.

What types of customers do you support?

Both legal entities (companies, partnerships) and natural persons. Some higher-risk sectors are supported case-by-case with enhanced due diligence; others are not supported. See our restricted jurisdictions and industries page.

What can I use Nudl for?

Mass payouts to affiliates, partners and suppliers; cross-border settlement; multi-currency collection; transparent FX; and cross-border local-currency delivery.

Is Nudl a bank?

Accepted Answer

No. Nudl is not a bank or neobank and does not hold a Swiss banking licence. Nudl is a regulated financial intermediary that provides payment orchestration and AML/compliance services over regulated partner institutions.

Is Nudl regulated?

Yes. Nudl operates through Quixo AG, a member of the VQF Self-Regulatory Organisation (No. 101241), under the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act.

What do I need to open an account?

Start with a 2-minute application, no documents required. If we can support you, onboarding requires KYC/KYB: identity documents, proof of address, company documents and beneficial-ownership details, and source-of-funds information.

We confirm whether we can support your business within one business day. Full activation follows once verification is complete.

Do you work with high-risk industries?

Accepted Answer

Some, with enhanced due diligence and case-by-case review. Certain industries and jurisdictions are not supported for regulatory or sanctions reasons. See our restricted use page.

Which currencies and rails do you support?

Accepted Answer

Send and receive EUR, GBP, USD and CHF through one platform. Pay out internationally in local currency over rails including SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, and SWIFT.

How fast are payments?

It depends on the rail. Instant schemes (SEPA Instant, Faster Payments) settle in seconds to minutes; other rails follow standard scheme cut-off times.

Are there fees and limits?

Fees follow the schedule agreed at onboarding, with transparent FX and no hidden spread. Transaction limits are set per account based on your risk profile and activity.

Where are client funds held?

Accepted Answer

Client funds are held with regulated third-party financial institutions in accounts separate from Nudl's own assets. Funds are accepted for settlement only, are not invested or lent, and are not covered by Swiss deposit insurance.

How do you keep my data secure?

Data is encrypted and hosted in Switzerland. All accounts are subject to KYC/KYB verification before activation, and enhanced due diligence is applied where risk classification requires it.

Why do banks close crypto, iGaming and creator business accounts?

Accepted Answer

Usually not because the activity is illegal. These sectors score as higher-risk under anti-money-laundering rules and need enhanced due diligence that most banks are not set up to provide, so they decline the whole category instead of reviewing each business individually.

Does a high-risk classification mean my business is illegal?

Accepted Answer

No. High-risk is a compliance scoring category, not a judgement about legality. It means a provider must apply extra checks, such as source-of-funds review and sanctions screening, before and during the relationship.

What is source of funds and why do you ask for it?

Accepted Answer

Source of funds is evidence of where the money entering your account comes from, such as platform payout statements, client invoices or contracts. Providers are legally required to understand it, and unclear source of funds is the most common reason applications stall.

What is enhanced due diligence?

Accepted Answer

Enhanced due diligence is the additional verification applied to higher-risk business relationships: a closer review of source of funds, confirmation of beneficial ownership, and sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening before onboarding completes.

How is my identity verified during onboarding?

Identity is verified to Swiss standards under FINMA Circular 2016/7, by live video session or online identification. Online identification uses an ID document scan plus either a small transfer from an account in your own name or a biometric passport-chip scan, with address confirmed by a utility bill or geolocation check.

Does Nudl issue payment cards?

No. Nudl does not currently offer physical or virtual cards. Nudl provides multi-currency payment accounts, transparent FX, and cross-border payouts over bank rails.

Question 20

Does Nudl support cash deposits or ATM services?

Accepted Answer

No. Nudl is fully digital and does not handle cash, cash top-ups, or ATM withdrawals. Money enters and leaves accounts only by bank transfer over regulated rails such as SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, and SWIFT.
